BLUEBERRY FARM NEWS
June 27th, 2025
We had another good blueberry day! Tomorrow, Sat. June 28th there will be three new Earliblue rows and the Duke section open for U-pick as well as the large Earliblue section that has been open for two days! The bushes are heavy with fruit so we can fill (drive up/walk in) 5 lb. orders without a pre-order for tomorrow! The Spartans are large and blue but they are just not as sweet as we know they should be due to the lack of sun. We are postponing the Spartan picking for a few more days and maybe even until next Friday, July 4th. We know many of you make special plans and travel to pick the Spartans, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work with mother nature and her timeline. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Keep checking back!
HOURS: 7 days a week: 7am - 3pm
Wed. 7am - 8pm
Late June - Mid August
EVENTS
New hours, 7 am to 3 pm daily! Every Wednesday we stay open until 8pm! Come on Wed. to pick-up your blueberry order or pick in the cooler evening.
FRESH U-PICK
We are currently picking Earliblue and will have the large section open through Saturday. With a little more sun we hope to open Duke and few new Earliblue rows this weekend. Spartans need more sun and will be opening some time before July 5th! Patriots are ripening right on time for the 4th of July and will be open soon as well!
WE-PICK:
We will be picking some Earliblues to sell for the next two days, since we don't have many of this early variety we will be selling 5lbs of pre-picked Friday and Saturday!
FROZEN
We have a few frozen boxes of Earliblues berries already, if you want to come and get some all ready for your freezer.
QUALITY
Thanks for your business and loyalty. We are committed to providing the best quality berries without the use of toxic chemicals. We have older varieties that were selected for flavor not shelf life like so many of the new varieties are. Although we are hand weeding and using other organic practices there are more weeds than in many conventional farms using heavy herbicides. Be assured that our berries will be yummy, large and easy to pick!
PRE-ORDER
We are now open for our 2025 season and will start taking orders again, that will be filled in July. We try to keep 5lb. boxes available for drive up customers as supplies last in the month of July, many days this is possible without an order. For larger orders please send an email to blueberries@andersonbluesfarm.com, call and talk to a real person or send a text message to 541.745.5487 starting June 6th. We are moving away from voice messages. If we have questions about your order we will call, text or email. When we put your order in our books we will confirm with you that we have received it. Sometimes in the busy season this may take more than 24 hours. Include the quantity in pounds, type of berry you like and if the variety is more important than the time of pick up. We normally collect all the orders, confirm we have received them, then call to confirm a pick up date when the berries are ready.
During regular harvest season, June-August; please call ahead to make sure we have enough before you drive out!

About us
Anderson Blues has been a family owned and operated blueberry farm producing supreme quality berries for over 40 years. Wayne Anderson started the farm and left it to his son Todd who carried on the family tradition along with his wife Paula, providing delicious high quality berries. My husband and I were fortunate enough to learn from our dear friends Todd and Paula over the last 20 years and have now become the new owners. We are so excited to continue the legacy of Anderson Blues and welcome the loyal customers back to the farm this season as well as new ones. We believe that providing healthy food for our family and the community is a life mission worth our dedication and hard work.
Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley, 5 miles north of Corvallis we offer a true farm experience just 10 minutes outside of the city. Our family looks forward to meeting you at the farm this summer! We value our loyal customers, and appreciate your business and support.
